Teal Goes Natural

My client purchased these nightstands several years ago at a flea market in Los Angeles from a local craftsman. She wanted to restyle them with a bleached wood look for her daughter’s new big girl room.

We hit a few bumps along the way. After stripping the nightstands, we found that the decorative piece on the doors was actually made of foam. And the pine was not willing to be rid of its natural yellow tones. We opted to go with a natural wood tone stain that neutralized the yellow and left us with a nice, warm boho look.
